Lake Erie Recital Hall was founded in 2011 by James R. Rector, currently managing music director.

The Lake Erie Recital Hall highlights talented musicians of all ages and provides a home setting venue for up to approximately 25-30 guests. Recitals feature conservatory music students, conservatory music teachers, professional pianists and emerging youth musicians. Each piano recital provides mostly classical music selections performed on a resident Steinway D concert grand piano. The Steinway D is tuned and maintained by Jeff Krill, turner of pianos at the Cleveland Orchestra at Severance Hall.

Recent recitals have included violins, cellos and singers.
